Renewable Energy for Mental Health

GoShop for  TELEMA Mental Health Center

As part of our commitment to a sustainable energy future in the Democratic Republic of Congo, GoShop Energy has established a strategic partnership with the TELEMA Mental Health Center in Kinshasa. Together, we aim to provide renewable energy solutions that support the well-being of the community.

To meet the center's energy needs, GoShop has donated a state-of-the-art solar water heater and offered preferential rates for the installation of a complete solar system. The solar water heater uses thermosiphon technology, enabling water to be heated using passive solar energy, while the solar kit will provides a capacity to ensure reliable lighting and power medical devices.

Center TELEMA, founded in 1989, is an institution renowned for its dedication to mental health in the DRC, serving over 40,000 people a year. The collaboration between GoShop and TELEMA goes far beyond the simple provision of equipment. It reflects our belief that renewable energy can transform lives, lighting up not just spaces, but minds too.

According to a doctor of TELEMA, “The installation of the solar system by GoShop will not only reduced our energy costs, but also will create a more stable and safe environment for our patients. It's a new lease of life for our center.”

We invite all those who share our vision of a greener, healthier future to support similar initiatives. To find out more about TELEMA and how you can contribute, visit their website  here

Together, GoShop and TELEMA are demonstrating how solar energy in the DRC can become a catalyst for change. This partnership is a living example of the positive impact clean energy can have on collective well-being.
